Rustic Cabin in the Smoky Mountains

Welcome to our house in Waynesville, North Carolina. Our property is located off of a blacktop road and our drive is 2-wheel drive accessible. Close to us are Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Resort, Cherokee, the steam engine rides at Dillsboro, and Gatlinburg, TN is about 50 miles away and the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway is less than 10 miles from the house. The steam engine rides from Dillsboro are a treat and there is also excellent trout fishing close by. Asheville is a large city with many attractions including the Biltmore Mansion which is only 35 miles away. As you can see we are centrally located to many attractions. There is also horseback riding available through the property adjacent to ours as well as whitewater rafting within 10 miles. Brochures of the many attractions in the area are at the house.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
The house contains 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a living room, a loft, dining room, kitchen, and utility room with full-sized washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with self-defrosting refrigerator/freezer, standard stove/oven, full-sized microwave, 4 and12-cup coffee makers and cooking utensils, plates, cups and silverware. The bedrooms are set up one with a double bed and the other with 2 twin beds, complete with linens, pillows, blankets, and comforters. The living room sofa folds out to a queen sized bed, so the house sleeps 6 comfortably, has a 20" TV and VCR. There is also a phone and answering machine. We also have a high chair for your convenience, however, if you have an infant, you will need a crib or playpen for your infant to sleep in. The house is heated centrally with gas heat and there are ceiling fans throughout. We also have a loft that is unfurnished, however, there is a rug down so if you wish to use it, it is available for sleeping bags.

Our remodeling is under way and although incomplete, the house is attractive and ready for your vacation plans.

RENT INFORMATION:
Our rent is $350 weekly plus $45 cleaning fee. Shorter periods rent for $50 per day plus the cleaning fee (3 night minimum). We rent weekends (3 day minimum)/ weekly/bi-weekly/monthly year round.
