The condo complex is 1/8 mile NE of the corner of Ramon and Gene Autry Drive. It is located next door to a small strip mall, but basically surrounded by fields. It is about 4 miles east of downtown Palm Springs. The airport, theaters, shops, golf courses, restaurants, etc. are all less than 10 minutes. The complex is about 16 years old and is gated, has 2 pools and jacuzzis and a decorative lake and fountain. The area is very quiet with very few children living there full time. There are 90 units, with about 1/2 being used as vacation homes.

Our condo is a townhouse with a half-bath, kitchen, family room and living room downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the things I have in my home. The refrigerator has an icemaker. There is a small patio with table and chairs and gas bar-b-cue. It looks on a pretty grassed area and the pool. The pool picture was taken from the patio. A color TV and VCR are in the family room.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and a full bath off the hallway. There is also a washer and dryer. The mattresses are all brand new and the furniture is 2 to 5 years old. One bedroom has a king size bed and a color TV; the second bedroom has twin beds. There is also a balcony upstairs that has a gorgeous view of the mountains.

I would describe our condo as spacious, but not luxurious. We have a phone upstairs and one downstairs, and an answering machine. The phone has a toll block on it.

Except for holidays - our rates are as follows:
$70 per night with a 3 night minimum or $400 per week (discounts for longer stays)
$50 key deposit, refunded when gate cards and keys are returned

Reservations:

If rental period is more than 3 weeks away - $100 deposit to hold date. Rent, minus $50 is due 2 weeks ahead of arrival date, to allow time for me to mail keys. If rent or deposit are mailed less than 3 weeks ahead of arrival date, cashiers check or money order must be used, otherwise personal checks are ok.
