We have the pleasure to offer several homes for short term rental in the beautiful Valley of Mugello immediately north of Florence. The Mugello offers the unique advantage of being close to Florence yet in itself is an island of history and tranquility. Each of the homes offered is within a few kilometers of Dicomano found at the far eastern end of the valley. All homes are filly fumished down to linen and kitchenware. All are over a hundred years old built of native stone.
The most famous sons of Mugello, Cimabue, Grotto, and Far Angelic, were the heralds of the Florentine Renaissance. Their works are the reflection of the people who Eve there until today. Their simple nobility is reflected today in the local architecture, cuisine, and culture.
This is an ideal vacation spot for couples or groups of fiiends who want to explore Tuscany's beauty and history together, all the while enjoying the unique experience in living in local private homes. These vacations can be enriched through trekking, road or mountain biking, running, horse back riding, wine tasting, guided tours, etc.
